The story is set in the 1930s, somewhere in the mountains in Romania. It centres on Simion, a ranger who lives like a hermit in the middle of the forest. One day, he stumbles upon a beaten-up woman, Irina, and tries to find out who has hurt her. He also tries to stay away from her but fails.。故事围绕李大为（张若昀饰）、夏洁（白鹿饰）、杨树（徐开骋饰）、赵继伟（曹璐饰）四个初出茅庐的见习警员展开，讲述了他们在“警情高发”的平陵市八里河派出所历经各类案件洗礼，并在老警察的言传身教下迅速成长，最终成为合格的人民警察的故事。。
