Mid-August in Paris (the title is a date: August 15) in a sunny, quiet apartment a young woman talks, thinks, reflects about herself, everyday life and little events in a long, uninterrupted monologue. The camera pictures her and her gestures in long, fixed shots moving around the rooms, the space, the light and shadows of a summer day.。故事講述陳方行（黃又南飾）逝世後，其好友思冬（陳泂江飾）出來他的葬禮，只有十人的小葬禮舉行期間，坐在思冬旁邊的畢念夏（岑樂怡飾）發了短訊給陳方行，未幾，竟收到「已讀不回」的雙藍剔。另一方面，思冬因為被念夏深深吸引，借追查真相之名，約會對方，而念夏亦因為覺得思冬跟方行兩者很相似，所以對男方的邀請並不抗拒，二人決定以半約會半查案的方式見面，開始約見其他葬禮的出席者，不過查案期間，部份出席葬禮的人竟遭殺害……。
